Lower Intermediate - Send your CV

Hi guys,
Can you tell me the difference between "sho3'ol" and "a3mal" as I had only heard of "a3mal" as Arabic for work. Are they both used, or is a3mal just the verb?

The word "a3mal أعمل" means (I do/work), so this "a أ" in the beginning indicates that it is "I" who work.
"work" itself can be either "3amal عمل" or "sho3'ol شغل", where "3amal عمل" is more general and can be for doing any action whether it is job or not, while "sho3'ol شغل" is more specific for work.

I am a bit confused about the word اياه in the last sentence of this lesson... Is it a way to use two direct pronouns in arabic since بعثل already had ك (you) as a pronoun? Could you say... حبعثلكه
"I will send it to you""

So does ايا work as an intermediary or supplementary word that helps separate two pronouns and avoid confusion? I just have never seen it used before... it definitely helps though instead of connecting both pronouns to the end of the verb. Thanks for any clarification, great lesson again! Can't wait to catch up to all the ones I missed!

Ahlaaan tomest05, it's been long time mate :)
First, (إياه) is a pronoun in Arabic equivalent to (it/him) in English, like { وقضى ربك ألا تعبدوا إلا إياه وبالوالدين إحسانا }.
Now (أبعثلك) is two words that has been joint togather, which are (أبعث) and (لك), where (أبعث) is (I send) and (لك) is (to you), so all of it is (I send to you OR I send you).. Now what missing is (it) and here where (إياه) comes.
You can NOT link the pronoun (ـه) to the (ـكـ) like your example (حبعثلكه), instead, you can separate (أبعث) and (لك) then add the pronoun (ـه) directly to the verb (أبعث)so it becomes (أبعثه لك).
So either (أبعثلك إياه - I send you it) or (أبعثه لك - I send it to you).

It makes all the more sense now! So بعث, is the generally preferred term for send? رسل is more for actually letters right? ارسلها اليك بعد ان اكل فطور.

I did not realize that. That's is good to know a very common word. تسلم او استقبل are those to receive? What is a common verb to receive in the sense that "I got it from you".
