'Innahu amreeky' is like 'indeed he is american'. The 'inna' part is used for emphasis.
'Hua' means he. -

Hi another great lesson :-) I have a question: what is the difference between "إنه" and " أنه"? Both were used in the transcript to emphasize "he is" but I don't understand the difference. Thanks!
-
@prestoli, first this dialogue is very much colloquial so not much grammar should be extracted from it.
However, generally the difference between (إنّ) and (أنّ) consists of many rules, but two common and simple ones are:
- (إنّ) is used when it comes after (قال ، يقول ...), for example (قال الولد إنه ذاهب - the boy said he is going...).
- Also (إنّ) is used when someone swears, so you say ( و الله إنّه أمريكي I swear he is American).
Hope these two rules simplify things for you.
Beginner - Don't swear

Don't you just find it really annoying when someone won't believe you? How can you make someone trust your words? Well, the phrase "Wallah" is one way to do it, but in recent years it has become misused with many saying it over the smallest things and sometimes mistakenly following it up with a lie. In this lesson someone's not too happy with the phrase being used so lightly!
