أي طابعة does theأي not take the feminine form ? as the printer seems to be a feminine noun ?
شكراً -
@hexagonmoon,
Yes you can say (ساتصل عليك), and (anymore) could be translated to (أبدا) and (لم تعد), so your example can be translated to: (الطابعة لم تعد تعمل ابدا).
@Plop,
It can be (Ayy أي) and it can be (Ayyat أية) both are right. There are few things in Arabic that can be independent from the gender. -
I HATE WHEN MY PRINTER DISCONNECTS! IT'S SO ANNOYING!

Hello Mohamed and Ehab,
We are enjoying the wealth of knowledge after subscribing to the ARABIC POD premium. But Now a days can not enjoy the discussion forum since the key words are in ARABIC. Don't you think fo rpeople like us, who are yet to get the script command, need also to enjoy. -
Ahlan khatavkhar_rajan,
I think you're talking about when people type Arabic in these lesson comments? Hopefully soon you will be able to pick up the Arabic text with practice and determination. It's probably a good way for you to learn, as the curiosity of what the comment mean might lead you to research the Arabic text involved.

merhaba khatavkar_rajan, maybe it will help you to use the transcripts while working through the lesson and then detect the Arabic words we are using here in the lesson comments? It means a lot of work to learn how write in Arabic, and we all have been through this, but it is great to learn, to have fun and finally be able to use it as we do! Just don't give up and be patient with yourself :)

I made a mistake in the comment above. I think it should be:

Most companies these days have a specialised department, usually called the service or help desk, that deal with technical issues. In this lesson we go through a dialogue, with a guest host, where one person reports a technical problem with her printer.

Also I'm just wondering how you'd say "anymore" like "The printer isn't working anymore"?
Thanks!
