    very good lesson -الف مبروك - love the grammatical reminders -things we know but tend to forget if not reminded now and than (eg : the use of "li")

    Question: what's the difference between the line used in this lesson for "Maybe you need to buy..." and saying "ربما انت تحتاج ان

    oops, i pressed add comment by accident before I finished typing the question! the rest is: تشتري حذاء جديد"?? Are the forms of need that I wrote and the one in the lesson related? Which would people more likely say?

    Thank you both. @hexagonmoon, both phrases are correct, but the one we used is more elegant and more similar to what is used in various Arabic dialects. Hope that helps.

    It's thanks to this lesson that I just learned that Cheb Khaled's great song Aalash Tloumouni means "Why do you hurt me"!
