I was listening to the clip for the second time when I noticed Mohammed said "eewa". So that's where you lived in Saudi! In Jeddah? I was watching this video from Tash ma Tash set in Jeddah and the husband, who is the villain of the piece, says "eewa" and "Abou" for "Abee." I've been looking for more things set in Jeddah, and having had much luck except for Khawaater. I am looking because I spent my childhood there. Maybe there can be Jeddah dialect piece...? :)

Interested to see اليوتيوب as it follows the English pronunciation of tube - tyoob, rather than the American, toob.

Honour is really important in the Arabic culture. This includes the honour of a family, a tribe, a nation or even the race as a whole. For this reason, any attempt to distort the Arabic image can cause offence to those who speak the Arabic language. We teach you useful vocabulary using a real-life scenario of when honour is at stake.
