There is a discrepancy between Edison's statement and the Arabic translation. "I have not failed" has been rendered as "I shall not say that I have failed a thousand times."

Why has "10,000" been rendered as "1,000"?

What is the difference between "tariiq" and "tariiqa". Is "'alf" always followed by a feminine singular noun (e.g. 'alf layla: a thousand nights)?

@Desmond, we didn’t translate Edison’s statement literally, but we formed a new similar sentence in Arabic that gives out the same message as Edison’s. The Arabic statement we formed portrays his message much better than if we were to translate it literally.

6areeq and 6areeqah have difference meanings
طريق –means road, path, route etc
طريقة –means method, style, process etc
