Salaams to both of you. It was interesting to hear the Khaleeji dialect. I want to know if the Yemini dialect is very different from the khaleeji dialect. Why don't you do a Pod Cast in Yemini dialect?
Regards. -
@clover_dover, Glad you have found us! Although we teach Arabic which is indeed the language of the Quran, one needs additional specialized lessons for the Quran, simply because many of the words of the Quran are very classical and are not used in everyday Arabic. Unfortunately, we can't go down that root and concentrate on the Quran because of the additional effort and resources needed. We see it best for the website as a whole if we just focus on the language and not the holy book. Still with the podcasts here it will help you read, write and understand many of the words in the Quran.
We will do further Khaleeji dialects. It's quite a popular one!
@fieldstarreality, the Yemini dialect is different to the khaleeji one but not very. I reckon a person with one dialect can communicate quite well with a person with the other dialect. We will see if we can do a lesson on it one day. -
After hearing the Arabic meaning of "Ariana," I wondered whether the girl's name was Arabic in origin. I guess not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariana_%28name%29
Anyway, I will never look at anyone named "Ariana" the same way. -
assalam alaikum. quite often I would want to click a button which will download all the available episodes on mp3, even if by category, but it doesn't exist. i have to do it one by one. can you make that possible?

@ummati, wa alaikum salam, You can get the latest 20 or so podcasts in one go via iTunes. Other than that, there is no download-all feature.

Often you get friends together on a boring evening discussing something fun to do. However, sometimes the options are limited to just staying indoors and playing video games. We just hope that if you end up in such a situation that you don't sing something silly like the guy in the dialogue.

I am a trial member at arabicpod .I recently discovered you guys on itunes and enjoyed your podcasts so much that i decided to check out this website.
I am very pleased with this site. My knowledge of Arabic has increased significantly from listening to you guys and i hope to one day become a full time member of Arabicpod . The thing i wanted to suggest to you guys is if you could possibly do a podcast explain g verses from the Qur'an as i am Muslim. From the short time i have been listing to your pod casts i have been able to understand the Qur'an much better when i read or listen to it thanks to you guys. May Allah bless you both for these pod casts and may you guys gain a lot of rewards from making them . I am sorry if my comment seems unrelated to this particular podcast. I just wanted to praise you guys and didn't know where to write this message. Also i really enjoy the Khaleeji dialect of arabic its by far my favorite please also make more Khaleeji podcats as i really enjoy this dialect. Thank you guys so much for making me feel more connected to my religion through these pod casts.
