Well, (blister) has different ways of saying it in Arabic, you could use (بثرة), or (فقاعة). So you could say (I have a blister on my foot) which is (عندي فقاعة في قدمي). Hope that helps.

Would the word قشرة also mean "scab" in English - or is it quite specific to the chicken pox spots ...?
مثلا هل يمكن ان اقول انتزعت قشرة
to mean "i picked a scab"

Chicken pox seem to be a fact of life today. Almost everyone gets it at some point, but it is better to get it young they say. You will learn plenty of useful vocabulary around this illness and it's side effects so tune in.
