Dear Moshaya, the word "thaniyaat" means Valley or Hill?
-
@ozancik, Thaniyyaat means folds, bends or creases etc. I guess the valley of Al-wadaa3 was famous with small bendy hills. To be honest, this word is rarely used in the street but everyone knows it from this song.
-
Hi!
I had a hard time trying to match the word VALLEY with ثناية....until I read your comment! Thanks a lot Moshaya -
Hi, Moshaya. Could you tell me who the first singer is? Beautiful song!

مشاري العفاسي

You need to say "Peace be upon him", when you mention the prophet's (peace be upon him) beautiful name!!
-
It is commonly misunderstood that this nasheeds was sung on the Hijra of the rasool صلى الله عليه و سلم but a proper reading of the seerah will show it occurred after the return of the Muslim army from the battle of tabook.

I'm glad that you didn't shy away from sharing a religious song.
