In classical Arabic you would say (walad mudallal ولد مدلّل) and in the street it is more common to say (walad mudalla3 ولد مدلّع).

Interesting lesson, it highlights some cultural differences in our cultures. We in the West take for granted the behavior of single young people, but it seems to be a major indiscretion for this somewhat aggressive behavior of asking out a 'girl' on a date in Arab countries. But, the West is tilting towards the Arabic norms when we discovered 'harassment'. Before we called this 'flirting' which is a much milder, innocent and less judgmental way of describing aggressive young males looking for a date. Anyhu, I'm glad I'm married and don't have to deal with the hassle of trying to figure out if I should ask whoever for whatever anymore and the much anticipated fear of getting a negative answer to any proposition of getting to know someone on a less superficial level.

Nice lesson. Is it possible to add the vowels to the pdf next time?
I am grateful for the transliteration but the vowels on the Arabic would be nice if it isn't to hard to do. -
@qwertyfshag, sometimes we add the vowels and sometimes we don't. The reality is that in newspapers and most books etc Arabic is written without vowels. So trying to read Arabic without the help of vowels is something that we all need to learn in order to progress to today's standards.

Nice.....although I deplore the fact that the exercises only include half of the vocabulary available on the printed material

As I understood معاکسه somehow means to flirt, and it seems harassment has more negative meaning in English. Am I right?
-
Yes, the word (harassment) in Arabic is (تحرش) or (مضايقة), which is considered to be worse than (معاكسة).
