Very strange lesson

شكرا لهذا الدرس

I just want to bring to the attention (maybe others are a little confused too) the word in the PDF file in the supplementary vocabulary for 'seat' is listed as 'miq3ad' but I have been taught it's 'maq3ad'.
I assume the difference is due to one being classical and the other being colloquial?
Hope somebody can clear this up
Thanks -
@ayaz , the word for (seat/chair) can be pronounced as (miq3ad) and (maq3ad) in classical Arabic, and both are correct. So what you've been taught is correct as well.

Thanks a lot Ehab.
It's an honour to be educated by you. -
This one matches nicely with the last grammar lesson on imperatives! Thanks a lot! :)
Beginner - Don't stand

The question is, should you stand, sit, swim or fly!? Yes we have a weird dialogue in today's lesson, but a fun one as well with plenty of useful vocabulary. Hopefully the few imperatives mentioned will help familiarize you with the pattern.
