Nice lesson.
But what would be the difference in pronunciation between "WALLA" "OR", and "wAllah", as in the lesson "Don't swear" a while ago.
In the sentence " واﷲ إنه أمريكي ", I do not hear any difference in pronunciiation.
Is there any? Or is it also there the context you need to take into account? Or would I need to train my ear better?
Again, another lesson very much to the point.
Thanks, Tau -
@Na7la, what device were you using when viewing the page? The play button is in "flash" format, so you need to ensure that the device supports flash and that you have it installed.
@tau, there is a slight difference in the pronunciation between ولا and والله but the difference is definitely noticeable. we have added these words to the dictionary, so if you search for "or" or "I swear", you will get the words and be able to hear the pronunciation and hopefully notice the difference. -
Communicating such a difference in pronunciation over the dictionary is a just great idea. Congratulations.
And I cn hear this difference clearly now.
Thank you! Tau
