Lower Intermediate - Sounds weird

This lesson includes many variations of classical,colloquial and female that I like very much. So much infomation in just 12 minuites makes it very dense,satisfying one.

Btw,regarding '6ayeeb',when a woman is asked'keef 7alik',she should answer'6ayeebah'.But in this lesson's situation,a woman answers '6ayeeb'.

Also,littasliyah has 2 lam on top,why it isn't لالتسلية?

Good question around 6ayyeb. Yes, if a female is asked "Keef 7aalik?" then she should reply with 6ayyebah and not 6ayyeb. The difference is that in this context it means "I'm ok" i.e. the ok refers to the woman. However, in the lesson it just means Ok, it's not an adjective referring to a feminine. Examples:

Q:
كيف التفاحة؟
Keef attufaa7ah?
How is the apple?
A:
طيبة
6ayyebah
Good.

We said 6ayyeba because tafaa7ah is feminine.

Q:
كلي
Kulee
Eat (An imperative talking to a female)
A:
طيب
6ayyeb
Ok.

Here it's just ok, not an adjective.

About للتسلية, yes the first Lam i means 'for' and the second Lam is for defining. What happens when you add Lam to mean 'for' to a defined word, is that you drop the first letter Alif and join the two Lams together. Hopefully the following examples will clarify it

المكتب - Almaktab - The office. To say "for the office", you drop the first Alif and join the Lams together, so the word will become للمكتب - Lilmaktab - For the office. هذا للمكتب - This is for the office

العمل - The work - للعمل - For the work

I found lam+lam patterns in many other lessons.

One year ago,I didn't know about Arabic at all,not even catch up with English part. At the moment, I am using Arabicpod and thin basic grammer book in Japanese. I am amazed how it works perfectly well. :-)

THE word تتكرر does puzzle me .I know كرر as to remember .so this relates probably to make it reflexive ? Than I thought it is passive voice . Can you give me a hint ? Thanks

The word (كرّر) means (he repeated/re-did). Now (تكرّر) means (it was repeated). This pattern is like (علّم) which is (he taught) and (تعلّم) which is (he was taught). If you add the (تـ) at the beginning (تتكرّر) then this makes it present tense, and the word then means (it is repeated). An example on (تتكرّر):
- تتكرّر الحلقة كل أسبوع (The episode is repeated every week).
