Sinbad saysThu 4th Apr 13@03:13 pmMy apologies for this question being off-topic, but I used your search engine to find episodes containing the verb إستخدم. I found nothing. Is it possible after so many episodes you've never used this verb? Just curious, keep up the good work. :)

Very practical lesson mashallah. I like the sound of مضمض :)
I think another beginner lesson 'Where are my glasses?' is also very practical because those situations happen quite often for me...
By the way,I always appriciate female speaker's version. In this dialogue, aasif becomes aasifa, but 7aa9'ir doesn't change. The other day I got an explanation that toyeeb doesn't change sometimes. Is this the same case? -
هههههه يا كورومي
:-D
happens to me all the time to look and search for my glasses, very often I get an inhouse call from a colleague "you don't miss anything???" -
I normally remember my glasses as soon as I leave the house, I just notice after I open the door that the world looks different so I go back and grab my glasses.
A note on (7aa9'ir حاضر) if it is used to mean (ok, alright...) then the gender does not matter. But if you use it as (I am present) then yes you should use the correct gender form. For instance, (the female doctor is present today) (الدكتورة حاضرة اليوم), notice the use of (7aa9'irah حاضرة).
Hope that helps. -
Shukran Na7la wa Ehab,I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one who does it. :-)
Also, again thanks for the excellent teaching. I think I understood clearly. 7aa9'ir, I hope I can be حاضرة at the same situation again soon. ;-) -
Assalam alaykum,
I often say the phrases of this lesson to my son,6years old. Then Tonight He suddenly said ' فرش اسنانك 'after dinner, I was astonished:ahhh:! Indeed children are genious of learning language.. He now understands
a7laam sa3eedah(sweetdreams),bisurah(hurry),ta3al(come),7abeeby.etc.
I haven't tried to teach my kids Arabic, just been saying it for my practice. But it is alot of fun when they give me a reaction.
Arabicpod is great in many ways. ♥
