@plop, nothing has changed. You should still be able to open the MP3 and PDF simultaneously. Sometimes you have to wait for the audio to play before attempting to open the PDF.

FYI, running Firefox and choosing .mp3 and the regular .pdf in new tabs (haven't tried other alternatives), I have no problems using both at same time. The .pdf opens in a tab actually labeled Microsoft Word - lesson578.... -

Could you please explain what يتم means in the second line of the transcript? Google Translate says "to be," but I have only seen it in news articles and such. How exactly is it used?

shebab, the word (يتمّ) literally means (to happen or to complete). So the verb (تمّ) you see it at the end of books sometimes and it means (it happened or completed).
So when someone says (سوف يتم) then the meaning is (it will happen that....).
