durruti saysThu 15th May 14@03:08 pmOh no! Mohamed is leaving us?!?!?
-
@durruti, oh dear no. I will always be dedicated to ArabicPod :coolsmirk:
-
@Moshya, are you going to do the lessons by Skype then?
Is you family also going with you to the Near East? What are you planning to do there? You could do a lesson about this ;-)
This lesson itself is very interesting, especially because the sukkun is discussed as a correct fall back position if the good short vowel is not known. And also the translation at the and of the dialogue into colloquial is brilliant. :-) -
@Tau, glad you found the podcast interesting.
I will try to answer all your questions about me in a future podcast :-) -
In the rendering to "all my life," does it mean "the rest of my life" or does it mean "my entire life" or something else?
Also the discussion of the sukkun was interesting for me in that I learned there is some kind of breath sound associated with it. I had thought it just meant "no sound." -
I am looking forward to some new video from Mohamed's new environs. The videos from London have been entertaining (search YouTube for Moshaya).
-
hi from Russia. In the last sentence is the word أستطيع spelled correctly? Before this word there is a negaion and in this case the letter "ya" or "ي" must be omitted. Or am i wrong? Alexander.
-
So you moved to the middle east Mohamed? Raw3ah! Of course I support it, I myself made the same decision. Allah yu7f6'k wa 3a2latak. :D
Excellent lesson, plc is also very helpful. Gradually I'm getting used to the conjugation of words, since you guys repeat it over and over again. شكرا.
بدون has caught my attention , I came across this the other day.
العطاء دون طلب يكون أعظم ،
والحب دون تردد يكون أروع
والصداقة دون مصالح تكـون أصدق
Can I use دون و بدون interchangeably?
مبروك علي عربيك بود لمغامرة جديدة :-)
-
@atkachev, yes the word (أستطيع) is correct and the sentence is fine.
@ Kurumi, both (doon) and (bidoon) can be used interchangeably. Usually (bidoon) is used more in a colloquial conversation while (doon) is classical Arabic. The sayings you listed are very nice, inshallah we shall make a lesson about them. -
شكراً يا إيهاب.
وأنا أتطلع الى ذلك إن شاء الله. ;-)
