tau, the sentence is (ما باليد حيلة). The only time the word (يد) could be NOT defined in this sentence is if you follow it by another defined word, so you can say (ما بيد الموظف حيلة Nothing in the hand of the employee that he can do) otherwise it has to be defined using (اليد).

In this lesson’s PLC you say, quite at the end “ما بيد حيلة“ or, the second time “ما باليد حيلة“ = „“there is no trick at hand“.
In the internet, I find both spellings.
What would be the correct one then, or the better one?
