    Having some difficulty actually understanding the English - we don' use "revise" in any way for testing here in the states. Does it mean "complete a test"? Or something else?

    'to revise' is British usage.
    It means 'to read again what you have studied in order to prepare for an examination'.
    The American equivalent is 'to review'.
