Intermediate - World of insects

This is an amazing lesson. I never thought I'd learn so much from a grasshopper ;)

If we compare the Arabic and English versions of Wikipedia we find that ﺠﺮﺍﺪﺓ (cf. the lesson entitled “Brave Ant”) corresponds to “locust”, while ﺠﻨﺪﺐ corresponds to “grasshopper”. Locusts and grasshoppers are identical in appearance, but differ in their behaviour.

in the text it is written as:


"hal tureedoon an u3arrefakum"... which means "do you want me to introduce..."


i would like to ask shouldn't it be as:


"hal tureedoonany an u3arrefakum"??


i think "ي" is necessary at the end of the verb to give the meaning of "me". Do i think correct or is it all ok with the text already?

the text is right. try to think of it as 'do you want that I introduce you.....' the first verb is conjugated to mean 'do you want' and the second then gives the meaning 'I introduce'. anyway, you don't add ي to the end of verbs to mean 'me', you add ني. For example هل تريدني؟ = do you want me?
