Oh, I really believe the more you hear it pronounced in correct way, the more you get used to it, and this is why we made and still making hundreds of lessons for you guys
Nice to know you manage to understand most of what you hear on TV, and we hope we will help you to make it %100. |
Thank you. While most of what I have learned was achieved by my going over your lessons many times...which I do most evenings.
I listen to nile tv mostly in the early afternoon. The origional purpose of the listening exercise was to see if I could actually understand what the (****)...use your own imagination regarding the four **** but since Lois just walked in...heck would be nice. But,either the news people have throttled back a bit or, I'm just becomming accustom to the ebb and flow. I've taken enough of your time but thank you again...really appreciate your outstanding work. Perhaps in the future I will add a few comments .regarding to your lesson on alien invasions. No, I have never been beamed-up, but I have been involved in the rporting end of such events. MC |
Now,I am familiar with the term أدركت...I realized... and, I know that the term you use for people, I had seen before...although I prefer ناس

(apparently I hit the wrong key)...because it is easier to say. And, so on for many of the other words. However, in the final quote I can find no translation except: 'Voitq...' something or other..for the first word.
I would appreciate your help. As you might notice it is getting late...the wind is howling and the snow was up to my neck last time I was out. If its up to my lower lip by morning, I may rent another lodging until spring...the arabic word for igloo Would also be appreciated. MC |
I know the Arabic term for “igloo”, Mario, but I can’t write words from right to left in this comment box. The first element, which means “building” or “construction”, is ﻤﺒﻨﻰ. The second element is ﻗﺒﺎﻨﻲ. I hope all the letters will be visible on your screen. Some members of the Arabicpod community can read everything I write; others (including Ehab and Mohamed) are unable to see the final letters. The final letter of the first word is ﻰ, while the final letter of the second one is ﻲ.

Sorry about that, but I do enjoy listening to your advanced lessons. I must admit this lesson was a bit tricky, but I am beginning to really appreciate this lovely language. I'm even beginning to understand 70% of what is being said on nile tv. However, I do have a question. The word ta koon...I know it means 'it is' but when I try to spell it, it comes out ta kun... which, ofcourse has little or nothing to do with 'it is.' Any suggestions will be welcome.
