Thanks for the lesson! My comment is in response to what you said at the end of the lesson about ways in which the website/lessons could be improved. As a non-native speaker, I struggle constantly with grammar in Arabic. While I have picked up a lot passively, there are still major gaps in my knowledge that I think would benefit from specific, grammar-focused lessons. I'm not talking about the basic masculine/feminine distinctions and conjugation, I mean the more complicated grammar such as the 10 verb forms, the correct usage of plurals etc. Perhaps there could be some advanced lessons on these topics?

Thanks for this great lesson! I have a question about the ta marbuta. You pointed out that because the word city is followed by another word it is "madeenat", with pronounced ta. But what about "shaqqa"? Why is that not "shaqqat"?

@Argentum, good question actually! We should have clarified that the word that followed needed to be a noun. In the dialogue Shaqqah was followed by the conjunction أو

If we followed it with a noun then it would have been pronounced as Shaqqat e.g.

شقة محمد
Shaqqat Mohamed
Mohamed's flat
