Intermediate - Mathematics
Most people need some help when it comes to Mathematics, all those figures and operations can make you dizzy! In the lesson dialogue someone needs help with an upcoming maths exam and luckily his friend is there to explain all and put him at ease. Perhaps you find Maths tricky and also enjoy the challenge of learning Arabic, in all its complexity. This podcast incorporates the two, teaching you some (basic) Maths in Arabic, so prepare to break a sweat!
Great use of new vocab! I was interested in knowing what word do Arabic students typically use for "class" as in "I am going to class" in my studies I have come across these two words:
صف
and
فصل
I have never seen حصة yet.
Which one is preferred does one have a connotation of Class Room versus the word "course" in English? Like you can physically go to a class room and sit in a class room but you "take a course" instead of "sit in the course"... Confusing, I know!
Also, It'd be neat to see more with numbers like fractions and decimals in future lessons. I still remember your explanations in the message boards many months ago. That was very great!
Finally, I've been listening to lots of Arabic music (mainly pop stuff), and I think it would be neat to talk about the numerous words that appear in Arabic music so much these days.
Like عمري
حبيبي
اٌغلي حبيب
روحي
قلبي
قسمة
نصيب
Etc... those words are so wonderful and express love/soul in more ways than English ever can.
