Excellent - please keep making new pod-casts. It's good knowing how to pronounce the words from hearing you speak them rather than trying to pronounce them from phonetic written words. Many thanks.
P.S. any chance you can use the word 'very' as in 'very cold' please. I was told it was pronounce jiddan or giddan but I don't seem to make myself easily understood. |
Very good, very useful; all three of the video's...
|
This is the best variant-when I see you talking, hear the pronunciation and also see the transcript. Well done, and I am looking forward to your other videos!

giddan is used more in yemen! in yemen the letter like Q become a hard G... for eg
jameel in all arabic and in yemen gameel not all words but alot of them... allah maak |

Guys Salaam alaikum. Here goes:
Mumkin tuqaddimun hiwar haul fasl fi al madrasah au fi al kulliyah? Mathalan: al mudarris ya'kudh al hudhur wa ba'd al tullaab maujudeen wa ba'dhum ghair maujudeen. Not sure if my Arabic was good but I was trying to ask: Is it possible for you to present a conversation around a classroom situation in a school or a college? e.g. the teacher is taking the register and some of the students are present and some are absent. Ma'a salaamah. |
Hi! Great job; I didn't even notice these video podcasts until today (oops). I had a question: is there a more polite way of ordering food in Arabic? That is, instead of saying "I want," is there a word for "I would like" or "May I have"? Or is أريد accepted as the polite way of saying it? Thanks a lot! These podcasts are great.
